Monster Cookie Dough Cupcakes

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cupcakes topped with Monster Cream Cheese Cookie Dough Frosting! Full of M&Ms, peanut butter, brown sugar, oats and chocolate chips. Heaven in a bite!

A cookie dough invasion has taken place in our house recently. It all started with this Eggless Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough that was baked into these Salted Dark Chocolate Cookie Dough Stuffed Cupcakes. Since then I have been making all different kinds of cookie dough treats I can’t wait to share with you. I was browsing the internet trying to come up with new and unique ways to use up all the cookie dough we have in the house and I came across these cupcakes on an amazing blog called Something Swanky. I couldn’t look away!

These cupcakes are an amazing combination of the flavors of my Trail Mix Granola Bars and the cookie dough I mentioned above. The cherry on top is that the frosting also has cream cheese mixed in, making these cupcakes an amazing, indulgent experience! They’re easy to make, even easier to frost if you use an ice cream scoop like I did and they will ensure you are the most popular person around.

Preheat oven to 350º. Using a stand mixer, whisk together butter and sugar until light, about 3 minutes. Add in peanut butter, mix to combine.
