Gingerbread Cheesecake Dip

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream , very cold
  • 1 8- ounce package cream cheese , best if out of fridge for an hour first
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar , sifted
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer beat the heavy cream on high until you get stiff peaks, 2-3 minutes.

  2. Put the whipped cream in a bowl and put in the freezer.
  3. Back in the stand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth and add the powdered sugar.
  4. Once combined add in the molasses, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg and beat until completely smooth and no grainy texture is left, 2 minutes or so.

  5. Gently fold in the whipped cream until combined.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  1. I love the idea of getting the taste of cheesecake. Eating a whole piece of cheesecake can be overwhelming sometimes.

    1. The problem with that thinking is, you just have a few bites, and before you know it, you’ve eaten more than a whole slice’s worth!
